Tørres Rønneberg, in 1881, began his work in the preserving industry in Stavanger, Norway. The first two labels below are from the period 1882 -1887. They measure approximately 6 cm by 32 cm (2.4 in X 12.6 in) and reflect the time when the Rønneberg Preserving Company was located at Kampen in Stavanger, Norway. My thanks to Eivind Oanes and his friend Mr. Dahl for sending me these labels. I truely will treasure them.
