Beverly Jeanne (Lima) Davidson

Beverly Davidson was born to her loving parents, Swen and Tillie, in Cadott, Wisconsin on 3 March 1933. She lived on the family farm with her parents and her brothers, Jack and Ted, until moving to Seattle with her parents in 1952. She loved her brothers and had many happy memories of growing up with them.
After arriving in Seattle, she and her parents joined Riverton Lutheran Church. Beverly joined the Sons of Norway and made many friends including her husband, Roald Sorensen. She and Roald married in 1954 and had a son, Steve in 1956. Roald passed away in 1963; Beverly and Steve remained in the family home and continued to worship at Riverton Lutheran Church.
Beverly married William Davidson, a fellow parishioner and neighbor in 1965. He had two children, Bob and Lee. In 1966 the family expanded with the birth of Sandra and was completed in 1967 with the birth of Martin. The family of seven lived in a beautiful home in Kent until 1976 and worshiped at All Saints Lutheran Church.
In 1976 Beverly, William, Sandra and Martin moved to Bremerton where they built a log home overlooking Rich Passage. While in Bremerton, they were members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Beverly lived in the home until 2005; one year after William passed away and moved to Des Moines to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Beverly enjoyed summers at the family cabin on Hartstene Island. Her family along with David and LaVerna Davidson (Janeen & Brian) built a round cabin at the Pointe. Many family events happened at this very special place, generally at the beach around a campfire.
Beverly was a talented artist, cook, gardener, friend, grandmother, aunt, wife and the best mother anyone could ever have. She was a selfless soul and loved all of her children and grandchildren. She loved and appreciated all of her nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and daughters-in-law. She loved her animals and the family was never without at least one pet.
She was very grateful for the wonderful care she received from her doctors and her caregivers. She will be missed every day by all who loved her. It is her family's wish that all who loved her should find solace knowing that she is now at peace.
